It's with great pleasure that we announce that one of the former members of the muslimasewing group @ Yahoo! had some of the files that were stored there and is currently sharing them with us in the FILES section of our site.

Arts and Craft Discussion Board Added

A new category has been added to the forums: Arts and Crafts.

As many people do activities besides sewing (I have several hobbies myself), it was suggested that an Arts and Crafts category be included in the discussion board and I couldn't agree more!

If you have a particular type of Arts and Crafts hobby that you'd like to see included in the discussion board, drop me a line in the "Suggest a Category" section of the board and I'll do my best to bring it to you. Enjoy!

Events Calendar Added!

Another new feature has been added to the site: Events Calendar. Now you can post signifigant events to the calendar. We started it off by posting the projected date for the start of Ramadan in North America according to the Fiqh Council of North America. Ramadan may start on a different date in your part of the world. Check with your local scholars.

We've added a few more features for the site: Quran and Hadith Search, courtesy of SearchTruth.org and Quran with Recitation (sound files).

After the disappearance of the popular Yahoo! egroup "muslimasewing" we decided to revive MuslimaSewing.com which was originally started in March of 2006.

We strive to become the premiere destination for Muslim women and women of all faiths who like to dress modestly and make their own clothing.
