MuslimaSewing.com is a gathering place for Muslimas who enjoy sewing their own modest clothing and for those learning how to sew. Learn how to make your own patterns, exchange sewing tips, tricks and advice and enjoy sisterhood between members.
Seamstresses of all levels are welcome to join. Newbies, feel welcome to come and learn from advanced seamstresses who are eager to share their sewing knowledge.
Although this site is geard maninly towards Muslim women, women of any faith interested in wearing and sewing their own modest attire are more than welcome to join. Please be advised that content of an Islamic nature can and will be used in posts. If you find this offensive, then please don't join.

Those areas that observe daylight savings time, remember to set your clocks back 1 hour at 2 AM, Sunday November 2 2008.

It's with great pleasure that we announce that one of the former members of the muslimasewing group @ Yahoo! had some of the files that were stored there and is currently sharing them with us in the FILES section of our site.

A new category has been added to the forums: Arts and Crafts.
As many people do activities besides sewing (I have several hobbies myself), it was suggested that an Arts and Crafts category be included in the discussion board and I couldn't agree more!
If you have a particular type of Arts and Crafts hobby that you'd like to see included in the discussion board, drop me a line in the "Suggest a Category" section of the board and I'll do my best to bring it to you.
